Zonecure 2gm Injection is a cephalosporin antibiotic used to combat bacterial infections throughout the body, including those affecting the brain (like meningitis), lungs (such as pneumonia), ears, urinary tract, skin and soft tissues, bones and joints, blood, and heart. It can also be administered to prevent infections during surgical procedures. Administered via intravenous drip or injection by a healthcare professional, the dosage and schedule are determined by your doctor and should be followed completely, even if you experience improvement. Prematurely stopping treatment could result in the infection's return or worsening. Common side effects may include diarrhea, rash, alterations in liver function tests, and changes in blood cell counts. Injection site redness or pain may also occur, but are typically mild. Inform your doctor about any antibiotic allergies, kidney or liver issues, and all other medications you are currently taking.
